There has been much discussion and many arguments over which game is better so i thought it was time to make a poll!

PES is better, but they have really pissed me off with not adding PS2 online capability, and i havent heard any reason why! This could push me towards purchasing Fifa for the first time since Playstation (1) first came out!

But as the question is which is better, PES any day!

FIFA is more of an arcade game. PES is so realistic. It's the real football fans choice.

FIFA has slicker presentation, is better in terms of environmental graphics and licensing and has the advantage of being on all formats. In gameplay, however, it is lightyears behind PES. I suppose it depends on what you're looking for from a football game. For me, gameplay is of primordial importance, so it's got to be PES.

Pro Evolution easy, however playing Fifa 2005 which Fifa series i have always hated, if Pro Evo 4 is to be better than Fifa 2005, than Pro Evo 4 is going to be ••••••• amazing!

I have played both, and to be honest I still think FIFA is the better game by far

I bought the new FIFA game at the weekend and although it's nice to have the correct kits, names and more choices in terms of teams and competitions (I created and played a London cup the other day which was cool) I would certainly say that I prefer the PES series. As others have already said, the gameplay is much better and when you play a game it just feels far more realistic. It looks and feels like real football, FIFA just doesn't have the same degree of realism in my opinion. Perhaps after mastering all the controls and the off the ball movements it my become a better all round game, but at the moment it isn't a patch on PES. At the moment I'm finding that 9/10 goals are coming from headers (either from a corner or a cross) and my strikers are the only players ever scoring. FIFA isn't a bad game but I await the release of PES 4 for the ultimate virtual football experiance.
