Janet, can you find out anything official from the club?

will see what I can find out - last year the august bank holiday game was indeed moved because of police presence at the carnival.. and I hope the wimbledon home game is moved as I want to go to the england germany game as well :-)))

will post here if/when I find anything out.

I would of thought the Wimbledon game especially will be switched.
There was a similiar situation last season when we were due to play Q.P.R. and England were playing on the same day so they switched the game to the sunday, which i would think Palace may do this time as they know how many people would like to watch both games.
I sincerely hope they do switch it because on this day i have to go to a family wedding and would hate to have to miss the most local derby you can probably get in football!!!

Possible fixture re-arrangements?

Does anyone know if these fixtures have been/will be re-arranged?
N.Forest (H) Bank Holiday Monday 28th August.
Isn't there something about no London teams being able to play at home on the same day as Notting Hill carnival or something ridiculous.
Wimbledon (Home!) October 7 - Same day as England v Germany World Cup qualifier 3.00pm kick off.

Janet, can you find out anything official from the club?

I think there is a good chance that both games might be moved, but it's far too early to find out yet - I'm sure Palace won't announce anything like that until after the start of the season.
