I may go to one of the games if I can get the time off work. I am a member down there so I will be able to use the bar and other facilities. I'll sneak you out a beer if I go.
I have heard that as long as attendence does not exceed 250 people, they will ba able to cope OK. |

I don't usually drink in their pubs Neil - but it's convenient as a meet up 'cos it's right by BJ station !

Chaps, there may be a problem with getting to O'Neills any earlier than noon, if our recent experience is anything to go by:
The other saturday that was supposed to be the starting venue for our Tram Crawl, but when we were outside the Manageress came out and told us it wasn't opening until 12 (despite the fact there was 6/7 other people waiting). This involved us in a trek down the Hogshead in the High Street (which has a better range of brew's anyway). As we dashed back for the 11.20 tram, we couldn't help but notice that they'd opened anyway, which meant said establishment was roundly cussed all the way to the next stop. An alternative for you would be to meet in the Rat & Parrot on Beck High Street (which is open for brekkie and will deffo be open at 11am) and walk from there, it shouldn't take very much longer. I daresay Paul will know the route to cut round the back of Blakeney Road to join up with Copers Cope. |

Neil, you of all people should know that the pub is REALLY called the 'Three Tuns'. Totally off topic but it used to be a favourite watering hole of mine on a Sunday night. Happy days Is the Chinese still open next door ? |

Yes Mat, the Chinese is still open. I'm affraid the pub isn't as good as it was when it was the Three Tuns. We could try the Coach & Horses, remember that one Mat? ![]() BTW, Neil - do you still want me to try and get some snaps tomorrow? Provided we get in of course. |

Ok can everyone excuse my ignorance here......
....but I am new to all this (got my first Season Ticket for this forthcoming glorious season) and I would also lie to go to these friendlys/reserve games at the training ground. But I have a couple of questions: 1) How much is it going to cost me to see the friendlies at the training ground. 2) And right back to basics, how do I get there!? I am coming from Streatham!!? Sorry if this all sounds bloody stupid, I will get better with practice (trust me I plan plenty of that!) |

Cannon ...
This particular game won;t cost you anything. To meet up with us - pickup tramlink outside East Croydon station and get off at Beckenham Junction (last stop) on the BJ service. From there - walk toward the traffic lights about 50 yards in front of you (the station is on your left) and you'll see O'Neill's pub on the corner. The few of us that are going are aiming to meet up in there around 12. |
