new slimline ps2 - dvd region x
Managed to pick up a load of copied DVDs from Asia but on my ps2 they only play in black and white as they are from a different region
Bought a DVD region X so that i could watch these dvds but apparantly it doesnt work on the new slimline version which is what I have. The DVDs play fine on regular DVd players but does anyone know if a new dvd region x is coming out for the new slimline ps2 so that i can watch them, on this. Or is there another way around it? Thanks |

I just got some as well, they only run in black and white on my normal Sony player, am about to try them on the Xbox. Quite weird as theyve worked perfectly on about 5 other players...

I got round this with a special scart lead (cant remember official name). Check the electrical online shops.

aussie eagle. its no problem on the old ps2 but on the new slimline version ps2 you cant play these dvds even with a regin x. something to do with the laser apparently.
My question is does anyone know a way around it for the NEW VERSION OF THE PS2 |
