The problem now will be Chelsea will probably piss the leaque every year,they are just warming up at the moment. They are already talking about bidding 60million for Ronaldino. They have the money to buy the world and will take a monopoly on football which shouldnt be allowed.

Why is it jealousy Lion?

Lots of people just make the point that it will be a fake title - and it will be. Throw enough money at it and of course you'll end up winning something - and in this case we are talking about hundreds of millions of pounds.

The Arse and Moan United and Liverpool have always been able to attract the top players, of course they have - but that ability and their "wealth" was founded on years of struggle that with prudent management eventually resulted in success.

How anyone can find it interesting to watch someone assembling a squad by buying almost everyones best players (often to have them sit on their backsides) is beyond me.

I find it boring - I don't even watch when the highlights of Chelsea games come on - its very easy to predict what will happen.

Would I want someone of dubious character taking over Palace and ploughing £300,000,000+ in so that the stadium is full of the prawn sandwich brigade paying £40+ per ticket whilst the people that stuck with the club through thick and thin couldn't afford to go anymore? Easy question - no I wouldn't - that's not football, it's just a carve up.

Chelsea were fun to watch when they were that perennial bunch of under-achievers who used to come down with the Christmas decorations every year. Now they are just a plastic club with plastic fans.

As much as Mourinho is winning praise all the time, surely most managers in the game could win the premier league if they were given 200 million to spend on whatever players they liked !
