Being sacked in CM

Okay, so I decided to do it the hard way and start from the bottom, blah, blah blah. So I chose Hull. Everything was going quite well, I thought. I'd made some good signings, things were coming along nicely and the league position was picking up.
Until Christmas - when I got sacked. Now, I'm a bit of a perfectionist about this kind of thing, so I didn't want to just restart the game. But the season has now finished and I still haven't managed to get a job. I was even snubbed by Conference new-boys Windsor and Eton.
Should I admit defeat and restart my game, or is there anything else I can do? (Apart from retiring my manager)

Don't give up yet! After I got the sack from Palace on 99/00 it took me about 8 0r 9 months before I found alternative employment with Wrexham.

Don't give up, but if you choose to do it the hard way you will learn the hard way.

Should have chosen Rushden!!!

Cheers, fellas. I'll have another crack. Don't hold out too much hope though - did I mention I'm now the bottom ranked manager...

In the 99/00 version of the game I got Sutton Utd relegated in the Conference and got the sack when the game updated itself in the new season. I got nothing in the close season, but half-way through the following season I was getting offers from a number of Third Divison clubs without even applying for them, including one or two from teams who wanted promotion. Strange?
