Hi guys - new to this board!

A friend of mine is a Tranmere fan and we've been joking for months about Iain Hume coming south.

But why not bring the little creative dynamo here - it's not so far-fetched. My mate reckons he would cost no more than a million - though he'd hate to see him go as he says he is amazing.

Scored double-figures this season and though he learned his trade as a youngster in Canada he is clearly going to be a star.

Anyway that's my first contribution (second actually if you count a comment on Ventola )

looks a good player, would be a big step up for him, but maybe worth a punt if no more than £1m.

Who would he replace? If we play 4-4-2 as we did Saturday then it will be vital that we keep a real battling centre pair, ideally Aki and Hughes, would he get in ahead of Watson or even Leigertwood? Forget the spectacular goal or two. Is he an agressive battling midfielder?

tranmere fans think hes a bit hit and miss. wouldnt be a bad option left mid or right mid in a 4 5 1 , not worth more than 400k though as i doubt he would get much of a look in and there is better around than him.

he's a decent little player but he is a bit lazy at times. preston had a bid turn down a couple of months ago,believed to have been about £250,000.
