URGENT--- CARDIFF

Please dont go near the LANSDOWN HOTEL in Cardiff this is a no go pub.I live in Cardiff and i would not go in there on match day as this is where the nutters drink.I will send a message to lightweight to suggest a safe place to drink about 5 mins from ground.Also stay away from Canton.

Thanks for that Players - I think most of us will be giving the area a pretty wide berth anyway though.

Have to say that the landlord did seem a nice enough guy when we met him the other week - although obviously this was taken with a large dose of salt !

I spoke to the Roger the landlord last week - and it all seemed ok. He did say it was a cardiff supporters place - I didn't meet them - but had it on recommendation that they were a good bunch as has been mentioned above.

I've had various conflicting messages e-mailed to me - some saying don't go anywhere it's terrible - and others who have lived in cardiff saying they've been to several games / pubs and never seen any trouble. Basically - it's difficult to know which is the most likely!

L/W. This is the pub where the infamous Annis Abraham from the Panorama programme on euro 2000 frequents before games.I am sure he would welcome you with open arms.
