Millenium or Wembley?

Couldn't see a poll on this so i thought i would post the straight up Choice, which one do you prefer and why?

Obviously helps if you have been to both.

For me it is Wembley, it was easier to get an atmosphere going around the whole section there. Behind the goal in the second tier it was very quiet for most of the game and a disappoointing atmosphere. Others have said it was fantastic so i have to put that down to the stadium.

Obviously it is easier to travel to Wembley and i also thing that the design with half the pitch in shade and half in bright sunlight in not conducive to great football, but tehn nor is it being played under totally artificial light! Think Wembley was better for this as well.

Also think that when they did the presentation a lot of fans were unable to see it cos the podium obscured the vew a bit!

Cardiff have an effective procedure to deal with transprt as far as i could see but the queues for toilets etc were very long!

Wembley for me, as you say easier to get to. Still think going up the steps to collect a trophy is better than a presentation on the pitch.

I agree that being in the city centre made it a more enjoyable surrounding but then there wasn't any traffic to block like at Victoria!

Has to be cardiff for me.

The stadium is in the centre of a city not an industrial estate so there are endless pubs and bars all within half a mile of the stadium and the Police, stadium officials and stewards seem to want to go out of their way to make your day fantastic unlike Wembley where you are made to feel like the enemy within.

Post match they have a set couple of songs to play (the same ones they played today for Brighton) and the tried to get you out.

After the win in '97 we were there for ages, a lot of the songs had Palace or Eagles connections and we were there for a lot longer. Oh and they didn't play that bloody Carling advert in Webley with the tune that gets stuck in your head!

Its not a square it is a triangle - shows you don't get there before we start taking over the roads to make a square!

I think, once Wembley is rebuilt they should still stage the League Cup Final, and maybe the play offs at cardiff, keeping Wembley and the FA Cup special. They are both good!

Id have to say the Millenium Stadium. The journey was a good thing for me, as seeing all the Palace and Hammers fans on the roads built up the atmosphere, and travelling to Cardiff gave the day out a lot more in my opinion.

And I loved the stadium, much more than Wembley I must say.

Cardiff although I thought the bogs were poor. Only one entrance so lots of pushing and shoving. Great view from top tier. Lots of lovely pubs / bars to drink in. Just stop Sky playing those records after the presentations. OK Glad All Over, but we can do without the rest. Wanted to sing a few Palace songs.

It has to be Cardiff for me. Better transport arrangements, better pubs in the area, stadium has great views all round. Remember getting stuck behind one of those columns at Wembley or needing binoculars to see the other end.

The only thing missing was the team going up the famous steps to get the trophy but unfortunately only two thirds of the stadium could ever see them

MS. Wembley only really had any allure for me as 12 year old going to see my little laughed-at Crystal Palace in the FA Cup Final.

The play-off visits only served to prove what a dump the place was and just how bad the view was from virtually anywhere bar the Royal Box.

The MS was magnificent and I just feel so very lucky that I was there.
