The Palace Independent Supporters' Association (PISA) has been in contact
with the Metropolitan Police's Chief Inspector for Operations for North
Croydon, this is particularly in the light of current terrorist incidents
and the safety of supporters.

The Chief Inspector has advised that searching is likely to be more robust
on entry to the ground and that a vigilance message will be put out to fans
and stewards alike. Any suspicions should be reported to the police or
stewards immediately or to transport staff when travelling. Otherwise the
general message is - business as usual

It is hoped that all supporters will understand and cooperate with the
police and stewards in ensuring the safety and security of everyone in the
ground and living in the local area.

Supporters also may wish to consider how they can assist in reducing any
entrance delays and creating unnecessary suspicions that may cause fears or
concerns to fellow supporters and interfere with the start
or continuation of matches and upset the local community. This may include
arriving earlier for matches where possible, to allow time for any
increased checks and avoiding, where possible, carrying items that may
arouse suspicions.

Please can you circulate to other supporters, who may not have seen this
notice. Thank you

If you have any concerns about safety and security matters in general, or
specifically in the light of current terrorist incidents, please contact
PISA on contactpisa@btopenworld.com

Yes, thanks for that. As this is a matter of importance, could it not be made a sticky? Just to make sure as many people as possible read it.
