"And whilst I'm feeling in a celebratory mood, I'd also like to share this with you. It's a classic!

Tim,who posts on the BBS, and whom I meet up with in Eastbourne to watch games, this afternoon told me of a superb 'stitch up' he did with the Brighton based radio station Southern FM a year ago. As do a lot tf the commercial radio stations, they have a slot they call 'Work Pkace Anthems'. The get people in the area to phone/write/text in to the station and five details of the company they work for so they can get a name check for the staff. Well, Tim, the wag (I know he won't mind me calling him that, he's been called a lot worse!) text in to the morning show, saying that he worked for the Brighton post office, and could they give a 'shout' for his 'workmates'.

Nicki (the love of her live is Brighton and Hove Albion football club - she goes to all their home games and as many away games as work permits, as well as presenting on Seagulls World, which is th clubs' internet TV service) Keig-Shevlin, responded to Tim's request, and in a 'sultry' voice, she went on to name check those P.O. employees! "Gabor, Danny, Shaun, Mark, Tony, Wayne, Andy, Doogie, Ben etc etc! Brilliant! thanks for sharing that with us Tim!"
