Anderson then had 9 darts at a double to close the match out and thankfully he managed it

I never think it's wise to lump on the big 3 or 4 in a big treble but that has a certain 'I can't see any way that can lose' about it...

Not at all Fin - I think you're probably right in general but other than Moan Utd possibly slipping up at Notlob, I can't see any way it can lose either.

The only comment I'd make Gooders is that the inclusion of Arsenal is not necessarily well-judged. Yes, they could well win 5-0. But when you include a price as low as 1/6 in a treble, it makes little difference to the actual amount you will win, whereas at the same time you have slightly increased the chances of it losing. From a "value" point of view I'm not sure it's worth that risk (albeit a small risk) of Wigan forcing a draw.

You'll feel pretty sick if that happens and the other two win, when the Arsenal match will make such a small addition to the winnings if it comes in.

Just a view I hold when backing multiples.

Finbar

A fair point Iain, it like when people who include a 1/10 shot in a 40/1 accumulator

Yep, very good points chaps - but there's none of my money on that bet so the most I stand to lose is a few points in my semi-final. Still think Notlob are the most likely to scupper the bet - no way can Wigan live with Arsenal.

Still too busy at work to find time to put anything on here. It worked in my favour yesterday but today from 4 horses I selected quickly this morning I would have had 3 winners at 11/4, 7/2 and 6/1.

If I'd manage to nip out to do a Lucky 15 that would have been more than 200 Euros. :sob:

Yeah it is a great match, did think I was dead and buried, well I would have been if Higginson had lost that deciding frame!

With Stu a Liverpool fan and me a Palace fan lets hope it follows the script of a certain Villa Park semi final cerca April 9th, 1990 :D

The most expensive row of property in England is "Millionaires Row" by Poole Harbour. Last year I took a boat trip to Brownsea Island from there, and the guide pointed out the most expensive property in the most expensive row of houses in England - owned by Harry Redknapp.

So, Harry Redknapp who has never worked for a major club to earn the really major salary owns the most expensive property in the most expensive row of houses. Go figure out how he has afforded it ;)

No problem Ian, need to make sure it is right, however if you had 76.6 from 4 bets like me and have then had 4 more wins at 18.5 which equals 74 so 74 plus 76.6 is 150.6 :hi:

I reckon Gav has chalked up about 170pts with quite a few bets left, so it's hail mary time.

I did think about doubling Birmingham and Harrogate Railway but the fact that that would return 440pts sums up its chances!

I think I'll plump for John Arne Riise to be first goalscorer in the Liverpool/Notlob game at 14/1 (Coral).

Blimey, I was just about to put together a couple of complex multis on the basis you would do the same, and I find out you have, but it's all over.

It was a great match - glad you made a good profit during it :p

Roma win, Getafe just about to start, didn't realise Valencia starts at 8pm. Was thinking of putting Parma in with these but decided against it and they won too :(

Still if Liverpool don't capitulate in the 2nd half and Spurs can beat Brum I still have a chance

So Spurs can't defend, Phil Dowd sent off Keane for a tackle that didn't even deserve a yellow card. But on the bright side Getafe won in the last minute. I think I have to assume Lyon will win and Valencia will win one or two nil so need to work out what I need to over haul Finbar

I've not been able to find a website with results. But looking at the club's own website http://www.calisiassk.pl/ it would appear they dropped the first set, which buggered me as I really needed them to win in straight sets.

The moral of this story is: Don't trust Polish women who play volleyball.
