Crystal Palace new-boy Alan Lee would like to end his first season at Selhurst Park with at least 10 goals to his name.

Lee completed a £600,000 move from Ipswich Town last week and made his debut as a substitute in the weekend defeat to Reading.

And the 30-year-old would like to get amongst the goals as quickly as possible for Neil Warnock’s side.

He said: “I’m a centre-forward and I want to score goals, that’s my job. I feel that I put myself a little under pressure and I want to score a lot of goals for Crystal Palace.

“To set a target is a dangerous thing, but you like to get into double figures.”

He actually said "double figures" and "a lot of goals".
