LONDON-based Kevin Lisbie could well end up playing his football in the Capital again, at Crystal Palace.

Ipswich Town front-runner Lisbie, who has been recalled from his season-long loan stay at Colchester United, has insisted in past months that he does not fancy playing for Town again.

U's boss Aidy Boothroyd, although delighted with Lisbie's contribution of 10 goals in the first five months of the season, has stated that the player is out of the Essex club's price range.

Keane insisted, during his weekly press conference on Thursday, that he wanted Lisbie to play for Town again, although he implied that it was "up to the player himself" to decide.

Keane also admitted that other clubs may have expressed an interest in Lisbie, and Palace appear to fit the bill.

Lisbie spent the first 11 years of his professional career at south London rivals Charlton, before his switch to Colchester in 2007, and his subsequent 600,000 sale to Ipswich a year later.

The fact that Stern John, a Palace player, yesterday signed a month-long extension to his loan stay could also add weight to the theory that Lisbie could be headed for Selhurst Park.

One of the only downsides of NW. Being linked to every old hasbeen striker.
Let's just get AJ back on loan.

He is an enimga. He gets in the right places but often fluffs chances but at this level he has proved he is decent is playing week in week out. I think it would be a decent deal

Didn't rate him at all when he was at Charlton
Always seemed to take 5/6 chances to score a goal
Turned it around at Colchester though

Non starter. Colchester have said that he's out of their price range (IE a fee is involved). That rules us out
