It would seem that Neil Warnock is still trying to push his luck in signing Ambrose.

I'm sure if his heart was set he may have already gone. That said if 2010 had banned any player moves then BG wouldn't have been able to complete it.

Darren probably has time on his hands though - it may depend on how quick we get a manager sorted and/or how much 2010 make clear they want to keep him.

I certainly can't see businessmen who fought so hard on the ground situation to let him go for peanuts.

I was in the camp of giving him the benefit of the doubt...i.e. BG thought it best for the club if we got the compo for NW etc etc.

But this trying to get our best players for peanuts has infuriated me...he can **** right off, the fat **** with his beady **** eyes and big ****-off nose! What a twat. Perhaps if you find it, you could send a copy to:

If warnock wants Ambrose 750,000 is not a "fair" price for a midfield player who has scored 20 odd goals this season. Offer us 2.5-3m for him and if he wants to go let him go.

Well it could be that QPR have been used.
Negotiating a deal that BG would use to put pressure on 2010, when no one but QPR wanted it to happen

So QPR need to put a spin on it.

Words of a desperate man who is clearly trying to put pressure on Ambrose and CPFC2010 to accept the deal.

Should CPFC2010 reject it, he'll then claim that his poor little QPR side were hard done by, and will have the perfect impetus for the kind of siege mentality that he thrives on.

I (still) like Neil, but I think he's being a little foolish with his comments here.

The same administrator he claimed was trying to sell our players not only under his substantial nose, but also for less than what they were worth. I'm inclined to agree but you can't have it both ways Warnock. You either think Brenda is selling for the right or for the wrong prices.

I've let a lot of things slide with Warnock but he is being a prize cock here. He is attempting to unsettle a player he has not agreed a fee for. Unprofessional and disrespectful to the fans he 'loves' so much.

If he wants Ambrose so badly he should be talking to the club/prospective owners and sorting out a deal - not talking to the media.

When we were in the crap and it looked like we were dead and buried in selling our players for nothing (because Agilo owned their contracts) Warnock was complaining saying it was madness and that something had to be done. He may have left but he was on our side throughout- without him we would probably be out of existence completely as he did a great job for us whatever you say about the way he left

The closest player in our league I can compare him to is Peter Whittingham of Cardiff. They score similar amounts of goals, but I'd say Ambrose is a better set piece taker. I'd prefer Ambrose in my team, I think.

If Whittingham went for 750k, I'll eat my testicles.

Warnock saying it's a 'fair price' - That's a load of crap and Warnock knows it.
OK, he got Ambrose for free last year, but he knows what a good player Darren is.
When James Milner is valued at 20 mil+, is Warnock really saying that, based on the 2 values, that Milner is 26 times better than Ambrose !?
Make Warnock and QPRobbers double their offer, at least or tell them to piss off.
Or to really annoy Warnock, sell him to someone else for less !!!

Next time he shows up to Selhurst Park please boo him for several reasons:

- Before he was manager he was extremely hypocritical in the Palace/ Sheff Utd encounter of November 2005 when the ball didn't cross the line and he had said officials had a great game. A week after he slated the officials in a match he lost.
- His comments about nothing but respect for QPR throughout the whole of his Crystal Palace reign. Clearly eyeing the job up for some time.
- For getting rid of what I saw as the heart of the club in the likes of Clinton, Dougie, Watson and Soares. Regardless of what you think of them they all did care.
- For leaving us at the first opportunity after recognizing he couldn't build on his own reputation after the FA Cup Final defeat.
- For stating he wouldn't take any Crystal Palace players.
- For stating Clint and Dezza both want to join him but "I want to focus on more important targets". He compared Dezza to the role Nicky Butt had at Newcastle this season ffs.
- The comments he's just made about Ambrose.

There's probably more, but i'm slightly boozed and cant be arsed to list more. Feel free to add to the list.
