Perhaps we should try and get the Aussie defender Moore he looked pretty solid today against Ghana and they did say he was looking for a club.
He's a freebie and gotta be worth a gamble.I know he used to play for us he was a good player for us lot.

He's got to be getting on a bit, did he not play for us about 10 years ago?

Edit: Born 12 December 1975

1998–1999 Crystal Palace

No thanks.

I was thinking he could do a job for us, but realistically he was being done for pace, so no.

Really was one of the classiest defenders i've ever seen at palace. I know we were in the championship at the time and his 15k a week salary did go some way to financially crippling the club but his composure on the ball and reading of the game was exceptional.
Could cause uproar and go as far as to say his partnership with Petric was better than Young/Thorn but it is unjust to do that due to different leagues/time/style of football.

Having watched him for the Roar for the last few years I'd say his championship days are well behind him. Top bloke though, I see him coming back to Australia and hopefully being groomed for a coaching role.

Completely agree with Hook, watching the game last night vs Ghana Moore was either falling all over the place with the slightest of touch or whacking players - lucky not be yellow carded.

He is way too slow and irrational for the current palace team.

I think he was yellowed and will miss the Serbia clash.
Played better in Game 2 though looked all of his 35 years
(and a few more)against Germany

No longer up to it and, truth be told, hasn't be for over a year.

He's also unlikely to move away from Australia just a year or two before he retires.

I don't know, a year or two in the london borough of croydon would be a good move for him. What's there to do in aus eh?

A good player for us......I liked him he was solid and composed....but no thanks to old now.

I am trying to work out where the joke is in your last comment you need to explain it to me to compare Craig and Petric who played at most 18 times together to Young and Thorn who were the backbone in our greatest ever season. I assume there is one....I would argue the Coleman Shaw partnership from around the same time was stronger than your choice

Didn't we have to give him back to Rangers because we never paid them anything in the first place?

Well the hell does do we have a suggestion for every out of contract OAP, signing these sort of players was what got us into the financial dogshit.

We need to only sign players with future sell on values.

No Aussies at Palace again please.

Near all have worked out badly for us.

Flying half way round the planet playing their pub league Qualifiers and coming back injured or with an inflated attitude. No thanks.

Moore is worth a contract in the Aleague but not the Npower League. Way to slow.
