I read in the Standard that Gilles Grimandi is leaving Arsenal at the end of the season,I feel he could make a good signing for us,having improved since his early Highbury days and able to play in both defence and midfield.

I'm sure Grimandi is good enough to play for us, but he ain't a ball-playing midfield general or a proven quality winger.

So we don't need him.

If we cannot afford to keep Simon Rodger, what makes you think we could afford anyone from the Premiership?

No... we want to get rid of useless, overpaid, under worked and generally **** midfielders. Not bring in a soul mate for Hopkin

Giuseppe Garibaldi would do a better job in midfield and he's been dead since 1882!

Don't think he'd be a popular choice with the fans.

I'm sure he won't come.

What really baffles me, is how so many on this board are so fast to slag off players, no matter who they are or where they play! Grimandi might not be the first player everyone thinks of when one's asked "Who would you want us to sign?", but he's an Arsenal-player! That's the Arsenal who's currently no1 in England, mind you! No, he's not their best player, but of course he'd be more than good enough for Palace and division 1, which eventually is why he'd never come here. So there.

I don't think it would be a bad signing. He is very versatile and would do the job, which is helping us to the premier league!

We aren't going to be flashing the cash around this summer.......unless we sell Clinton, and I hope we don't.

That means that we will add one or maybe two players. We don't need a Grimandi, we need someone who is more creative.

Grimandi such a bad player hes nearly always in the squad at Arsenal argueble the best team in the premiership.
He would be a fine signing for palace once we ship out Hopkin and Rodger
