From Sky Sports .....

Huddersfield Town have told striker Clyde Wijnhard that his contract will not be renewed when it expires at the end of June.

The Terriers paid 1million for the former Leeds striker three years ago but he has failed to establish himself and was loaned out to Preston North End towards the end of last season.

"He is free to negotiate a new contract with whoever he wants, but we can't afford him," said Huddersfield chairman David Taylor.

"I'm 99 percent certain Clyde won't be coming back to us," he added.

The 26-year-old's 7,000 per week wages were paid by Preston during his loan spell.

Wijnhard will be a free agent from the start of July.

Why sign him?

He was f***ing useless when they played against us he just fell over and caused us no problems at all. He is not a good player and we should not sign him.

He spent almost a year out of the game through injury and has only been playing again for a couple of months so he's hardly match fit. Of course this injury / confidence things has already been seen with Hairy & Ade so another one may not be the best option, even though in previous seasons he was very good.
