Would be a good signing. Lives in London & is available from arsenal?

Only on 100,000 a week, hence their difficulty in shifting him

No thanks, doesn't track back and lazy (hence why never made it in a top top team). Knows where the goal is but money would be better spent on Remy or someone who's a 'team' player

I don't think he was trusted to play the full 90 mins there either! You have to question why he's never nailed down a place in a top aide over the last few years.

I think arsenal will struggle to off-load.

I'd be in favour. I have a German colleague who lives in Waddon. He's come to a few matches. I showed him this thread and he is convinced it's going to happen and is now bursting with excitement and talking about getting a season ticket.

I tried to explain it's just a suggestion and hasn't even risen to rumour level yet. But he's having none of it.

They're an odd people.

Germans or Arsenal fans? Or both?

The German version of Peter Crouch in that he has a reputation for scoring international goals against the weaker countries and disappearing against decent oppo. That nugget was supplied by journalist Rafa Honeigstein.
