I see that Tigana is prepared to let Collins go for nothing to help him find first team football. I know he is 35 but he might be the creative central midfield player we are screaming out for, even if we only take him for the rest of the season.

I'd have him at Palace like a shot, we need a midfielder with vision like him

WAGES!!!

SJ has said the average wage at Palace is 6,000 a week and he wants to get that down to around 4,000. So, signing players who are on 10,000+ doesn't seem very likely.

That doesn't mean we would pay him 10K. He might do it for 4K having realised that no-one else will pay for his services plus he doesn't have to move house. I wonder if Kit Symons would have a word with him about Palace. Perhaps not, that might scare him away :)

Well you have summed up Fleming, Akinbiyi and Thomson pretty well but what do you think about Collins?

A deal to the end of the season would surely be ideal for all parties.

I'm sure at this stage of his career, although wages would be a factor, he surely just wants first team football.

It could be just the push we need to move from a top half team to a top 6 team?

This is the man we need. We have all seen how average prem palyers can come down a look like footballing gods in the 1st division. A loan deal or something would be ideal. Go SJ and TF go get John Collins, a man capable of a creative pass. C'mon go and talk to Fulham and Collins agent now!!!!!!
