I have just heard we have taken Luton Towns keeper on loan, apparently they can't afford him, I think his name is 'Sedric', not sure though. Does anyone know anything about him?

From Planetfootball

CRYSTAL PALACE have handed a trial to French goalkeeper Cedric Berthelin after Luton Town were unable to hang onto his services.Berthelin spent two months on loan with The Hatters from Lens but was released last week after Joe Kinnear could not raise the funds to keep him at Kenilworth Road.Kinnear was bitterly disappointed to lose Berthelin and was confident he would quickly be snapped up by another club.First Division Palace have moved swiftly to run the rule over Berthelin as they seek cover for the goalkeeping position.Berthelin figured in the Eagles' reserve team clash against Leyton Orient on Wednesday and will be hoping to impress Palace boss Trevor Francis. The match also marked the return to action of striker Ade Akinbiyi, who has been sidelined for seven months with injury.

Think he'd like Kolinko if we told him his first name was Cedric?

He has not aged 5 years in the space of 1.

Alternates between Reserves and Academy U19's and has clocked up over 16 games so far this season. He was only 17 in September when he became a full-time professional and is thus eligible to play for the FA Youth Cup (U18) side and was in the team which recently beat Burnley 2-0 away in that competition. He is on a learning curve and is a fine prospect but should not be rushed into first team action.

Sounds interesting, did anybody see him play tonight? If so what are the first impressions. Luton seemed to rate him quite highly, so he cant be that bad.

He is rated quite highly in France and plays for Lens, so he has a bit of pedigree! :)

I watched him in the reserves on Wednesday, but to be fair, he didn't have a lot to do. JK seems to like him.
