View Full Version : Ideal names for a football team

04-01-2001, 03:13 AM
Hi all, I am just starting to setup my own football team, and wondered if you lo could think up any names for it.

Also, if anybody between the ages of 16-17 want to play for the team and live in the Croydon area, please contact me via e-mail.

There seem to be a range of team names which involve the name of Croydon being in it. Could you think of ones which have Sutton or Surrey in them??

Moving on to the interesting subject of chocolate bars, I have distinguished chocolate marketing ploys into distinct "generations", developed to keep any one, essentially the same product, interesting and saleable.

1st Gen

Your standard Mars, Snickers, KitKat

2nd Gen

3rd Gen

Minitures (for kids and selection packs)

4th Gen

Chunky (a clever move this one)

5th Gen (technically an off shoot of 4)

Chunky King Size (for fat gits)

It's bloody hard work I can tell you. You've obviously mailed me re CPIFC after this posting though.

I used to run a team in the Banbury leagues and we were called "Charlatans", basically because we were.
