No sign of Mr Riihilahti on the pitch or bench on Tuesday and no sign of him today.
Aki was at Selhurst today, but why isn't he in the team (In place of 'The Crab') or even on the bench?
Does he have a knock? Is he not in SK's plans?
I think we need Aki sooner rather than later with the shocking form Derry seems to be in.
Any ideas?

Probably in front of his PC or writing his next column in the Times.

A good point but at the same time why is Watson not being played. I understand that need to bring the youngsters through slowly but if you are going to put him on the bench then you must be prepared to play him.

Having said all that and going back to the point of the thread, is there any point in having somone like Aki on the bench when the chances are he won't get picked!

Is it not true that the most successul teams are those who's first 11 remain most consistent?

Therefore the weekly inclusion of Derry as a first choice midfielder may actually be of benefit to us. I think he looks to be better utilised this season, he has made some cracking forward runs, and he had the shot Saturday that lead to AJ's goal. He's good defensively, and can keep possession, which is actually more important that simply running/passing forward and losing the ball.

Not a Kember fav - his contract is up next summer - so assume the worst - unlikely to play unless the injury list reaches double figures :(
