Someone get on the blower to CPFC immediately... Udinese are desperate to offload him before the deadline and he wants to go; he's already rejected CSKA Moscow because he doesn't want to go to Russia.

Top notch left sided defender or midfielder. Even if it's on loan.

Please Palace! :hi:

No good for Palace. The club shop have run out of 'V's again.

Yes - left sided Czech player. He doesn't want to leave Italy. Full stop.

Recognised by the media and UEFA as the best left back in Euro 2004...

So chances of this happening are zero?

He's quoted as saying he wants to remain in a league of a high level. Nothing to suggest he wouldn't consider a move to the Premiership from his comments earlier.

"I want to stay in Serie A because this is the championship that I like the best" - on an Italian footie site this am

Saw the story this morning and was thinking the same as BP, as it happens (more in hope than anything else though...).

Then I saw this: "I want to stay in Serie A because this is the championship that I like the best," continued the left-sided player.

"The transfer market closes on Tuesday so if nothing happens then I will remain at Udine where I have always acted professionally."

Then apologies for my assumptions... ;)

Perhaps a small glimmer of hope in that he seems to have revised that statement this afternoon.

JCM, I appreciate what you say but Bolton have previously tied up this sort of deal in under two hours, albeit with the help of the agent Willie McKay... :D

He is a brilliant player, no doubt about that.
