He's saying that he might be looking to get away on a free in January if Liverpool continue to ignore him.

He's 30 apparently - I thought he was older.

I know we have a lot of central defenders, but is he worth an interest?

Depends on his wage demands. He must be on a good wage at Liverpool

I doubt very much that he has the quality to improve on our central defenders, have always felt that he was a weak link at Liverpool.

I dunno - a vital last minute handball against Charlton last game of the season might come in handy :D

No thanks. Don't think his rosy red cheeks have any place with us.

He would be a much better signing than Dean Richards, a name that a few have been touting. See how the next couple of months go and he could be worth a look at.

Never rated him myself Gooders (even though he has scored for us :D ). I've always been more impressed with Hypia.

A good shout but i think he will go to a more established prem side plus we have about 6 central defenders already.

.....highly paid, and not all that to be honest. Steer well clear.

Jimbo ?

I'd have him but i think his wages would be too high and I would rather give our younger team a chance, stick with boyce hudson...

A fair player, but I dont think another centre-half should be our immediate priority.
