The same Italian source (Corriere Della Sera) as was linking Almeyda with a move to Spain is saying that struggling Siena may be prepared to sell Tor Andre Flo and Enrico Chiesa

Chiesa is a veteran but his scoring record of one goal every three matches in Serie A is impressive. Worth a half season loan?

That's a very good scoring in Serie A. Might be well worth a look. What kind of player is he?

An older, more experienced version of Ventola. With a far better goalscoring record.

Surely MUCH older, he's been around for years. I remember he was absolutely brilliant at Parma a few years ago, but I always thought of him as the Italian version of Robbie Fowler, i.e. lost the plot a bit.

According to this link, he's the only chance Siena have of staying up.

People always seem to be so optimistic about us signing Italian players. Bar Lombardo, and what we've seen of Sorondo (although I swear he's Argentinian), what's so great about Italian players?

Ironically, I have both Chiesa and Almeyda in my Palace Pro Evo Master League team.

Not that it is very interesting.

He is a fantastic talent and had a huge injury, recovered and was on the verge of signing for Juve a few years back then got another huge injury. Think thats one too many huge injuries which is a shame as he was my favourite striker in Serie A
