The stationery rep for the company who supplies were I work is a mad Spurs supporter (season ticket and away games) he's just told me Everton have had a bid rejected for Simon Davies and if they improve the offer they will let him talk to Everton due to the fact Gravesen looks like he's on his way out and wants to stay in England. A possibility for the Palace in January Your Thoughts.

That's the reason they want Routledge

absolutely no chance. His wages are astronomical and there is no way in a zillion years that he would want to come to us. Dowie enquired about him during the summer and everton said no.

Gravesen wants European fotball, preferabley Champions league - what do you think our chances are?

Gravesen could play for any team in the Premiership.

There's more chance of Palace signing me in the transfer window.

I've heard that united are interested in him.

Theres more chance of Bolton signing Ronaldinho than us signing Graveson.

he would not go to Palace if he plays regularly for a team that is third he wont wanna move down the flipping ladder it is pretty obvious

They want the money to improve their offer for Routledge.

isn't this thread meant to be about the possibility of signing Davies rather then Gravesen?

Personally I would have said for any side outside of the top 3 he could fit in to, this time last year.

But on present form it is no suprise he is being linked to Man U.

Yes, of course, and I also said it in the Echo at the start of this season.

Why do you ask that?

Agreed, and top marks for your spelling c_block, but a big red mark for Dave ('would of') :(.

But seriously, why does everybody seem to think that Gravesen was underrated last year? I've always maintained that he is a very, very classy midfielder, with a bit of bite.

He was superb at the last World Cup, and even more so in the Euros.

I thought Dowie said after the Everton game that we'd bid for him in the summer?

A real class act Everton are where they are today cause of him ...he breaks it up and then sets it up we'd be several places higher if Dowie had of pulled this one off earlier now its way too late and as someone said Man U very interested ...and with good reason...

I agree. They seem to still think they are a big club and belong in Europe!!!:clown:

Just what planet are people on? You are talking about one of the
finest goal-scoring central-midfielders in Europe, who were he to
want to move would be able to take his pick of the top clubs.
Rest assured he will NOT be coming to Crystal Palace!
