my mates a leeds fan and he says that Sullivan is the main reason for their shit start to the season. Might as well buy back Fraser Digby for all the good he'd do us!

God no!!!

Dowie has a good idea of talent, something Sullivan doesn't seem to have certainly not these days anyway!

Sullivan started the season well, he's made some errors but he's still keeping his place in goal over Scott Carson. I wouldn't single him out as the main reason for our bad season. I wouldn't single out anyone except the entire team. But with Kiraly around I don't think a new keeper's what you need to look for anyway.

sounds like a revived rumor to me. we probably were interested when we had no goalies before Kiraly/Speroni.

Does anyone else hate these 'my mate of a mate said something so therefore it must be true' type of threads?

Why would we be after Sullivan. He is getting first team football at Leeds, and for a player of his age - that'll be the overiding factor. He left Spurs and Chelsea because he wanted first team football. Why would he want become third/fourth choice at us?

I thought Frazer Digby was a good keeper but then I probably only saw him play twenty times or so.

Sullivan ? gull_palace knows an awful lot of mates.

Think Steve has got it spot on. Revived rumour. Like Webbplebp says he wouldn't come to us to warm the bench. Future coaching role perhaps?

sounds like a re-hash to me too. Was a fair keeper in his Wimbledon days, needs to be at his best to help keep Leeds up!

Sound like the funny scetch on Little Britain! "I Was like yer but no but you shouldn't listen to her as she's got one t!t bigger than the other..."

This is not worth a thread though!

Anyway I rated Digby. I thought he improved massively in our administration year and remember him being amazing at Charlton away. Swindon fans always been fond of him too

Agreed. David Sullivan is reported to be fed up commuting from Essex to Brimingham and would like to buy a more local team. I think his pal Mr Gold also lives "darrrrn sarrff".
