View Full Version : Time to rotate?

Not suggesting that the rest of the team should emulate Michael Hughes' trick of going through 360 degrees when a more direct approach would be prefferable, but the fact that our midfield players are looking decidedly battle-weary. I can't help thinking that it is time for Dowie to rest one of them per match, for the long-term benefit of the team. With Lakis, Butterfield, Kaviedes and maybe Soares and Leigertwood "champing at the bit", I think it's worth giving one of them a go per game. You never know, one of them may surprise us and keep his place for the duration.

Sean Derry to replace Watson or Hughes in Midfield, at least then we would have someone who can take a corner properly, Leigertwood for Popovic too

Derry? couldnt perform in 1st division? we cant afford to rotate or we will lose points. wish we could though, alot of tired players at the moment

cant see dowie much happening on this front til the transfer window. none of our other midfield options look premiership class.
