Lots of talk as we are coming up to January of possible targets in the transfer window.
Although I personally think other areas need looking at as much or maybe more than our forwards, who of the guys we have been linked would you want to see in Red & Blue??

Personally I'd like Dean Ashton but don't think we'll get him!

Would LOVE to have Nathan Ellington, but that is no chance, but Ashton & Ameobi woudl both be brilliant as well, and I see them as more realistic targets.

Hartson

I think Ellington & Ashton are both in the same boat and will get a lot of attention from the big boys in the transfer window.

Blake has been around a long time and did sod all in the Prem with Bradford and although a good player I think he's a good first division player.

Helguson seems to be on fire and is the one I left off the poll who should have been on there. A possibility!

Would like to see Euell come over

I'd like to see us nab Helguson off Watford. Thats the most likely i think. Though Euell in midfield wouldn't be too shabby.

Blake is playing in the same role as AJ at Burnley and doing very well.

Ashton would be great up front, still not as good as AJ in the championship

Clinton O'Morrison (not wishing to re-open a debate that has taken up about 1,500 threads).
Or that guy who is banging them in for Barnet.
Or Luis Boa Morte
Or Carl Cort
Or Rebrov

i think its gotta be hartson as the big man to knock the ball down for aj! if we dont try shipps before hand and find that he can do a perfectly adequate job himself!!

Marlon Harewood, not gonna happen though

i reckon Euell weighing in with approaching 10 goal from midfield a seson wouldn't go a miss. we desperately need to strengthen the midfield

Kenny Deuchar,D Bingham (Decuchar 18 goals Bingham 16 Both Gretna) Or Grazoli (Barnet)

Darren Bent looks the part for me, but would come with a hefty price tag. I doubt whether we could match Hartson's wages, Germany looks likely for him. Like a few others I'd love to see Clinton back in red & blue.

nathan ellington funnily enough, as i've been on about us signing him ever since i saw his debut for bristol rovers at 18. said then that he'd end up the complete striker, and for once i was right.

we could have got him for 1m the same time that fr*ncis went and p*ssed 2m up a wall for akinbiyi. fantastic.

Dean Ashton, but realistically Jason Euell woul be a sly move at a good price

I find it amazing just because they have got an ample about of goals in the lower leagues of Scotland and the Conference, respectively, you feel they could add anything to our presence up front.

Bingham is the wrong side of 30 and Grazoli couldn't cut it at Bristol Rovers in the (old) third division - so I doubt he'll set the Premiership alight....

I agree. Grazioli has been around a fair while as well. He's playing at the level he should.

Somebody has finally voted for Zamora!!!!!

Ellington by miles, and I think unlike Ashton, it's within the realms of possibility.

the only 2 reasons dowie would bye is
1. more of a freak than him
2. might get on the end of many of waynes shitty crosses
