I think it deserved a 'OH-OH'. He's a fine player and I thought it was pretty much going to be a done deal that he was signing till I read this. Sorry for posting my thoughts.

We've made him an offer. If he refuses it then let him move on. He is perfectly entitled to do so. We all have the right to change jobs if we think we can better ourselves elsewhere. Why should it be any different for a professional footballer? I hope I don't hear any nonsense from the Holmsdale on Boxing day like I did when Gray was still with us. Routledge has his whole career ahead of him. It's a career that is one bad tackle away from being ended so if he thinks the grass will be greener somewhere else, let him have it. Gray is now warming the bench at St Andrew's in a side that is only four points ahead of us. I wonder how satisfied he is with his move? I think if we can get a couple of million for a player who wants away then we should grab it. Anyway I think he has probably reached his level and don't see him improving much so the money might be the best result for us.:S: :S:
