It's only a loan deal when Palace are trying to shed players on a permament basis. The optimist in me wonders if we may be trying to secure a deal that might involve Andy Reid or Michael Dawson coming here in January ?

It wasnt random though Dave, they had been giving him a lot of stick.

Besides, he's already stuck two fingers up at us - remember Crewe at home last season?

t wasnt random though Dave, they had been giving him a lot of stick.I can't believe you are attempting to justify a former club captain giving fans an obscene gesture because he was getting a bit of stick.

Not justifying it. A player should be above that. However, you said you look forward to him sticking his fingers up at us next time we play Forest. I was just trying to make the point that he is unlikely to do this unless we wind him up, which our fans probably wont do (without his corner at Sunderland....).

Besides, as I said, he's stuck his fingers up at his own fans before - Crewe last season springs to mind. Maybe he has a problem with taking stick.

Signed for Palace by Trevor Francis wasn't he? The very same Trevor who is being widely tipped as the next Forest manager.......Perhaps there really is more to this than meets the eye.

Our beloved Sean stuck two fingers up at the Pompey fans.

However, having lived in Portsmouth for the last 2 years, I can't really blame him :D

he had a blinder today against the hamsters for us. first class performance from Derry. Neil Harris was quality as well upfront with Johnson

Shame about the result Jamie. Here's hoping you can get a few results over the next few weeks and pull clear of the real rubbish in that division.

That will be years away, Forest are about to be relegated to division two, while we are rapidly rising up the Premier League.

We may need him back. Our sqaud is down to bear bones for this weekend. Players like Gary Borrowdale and Tom Soares are virtually guaranteed to start.

Assuming, of course, that we haven't signed Djetou and Bulykin (can we get some players with names that are easy to spell:D )
