The local non league club in Croydon, Croydon FC, have a match a short walk from Selhurst Park against Meridian VP, kicking off at 3pm.Any other fans going to watch their local non league team this weekend?

Dulwich Hamlet, for the game vs Weymouth, are offering discounts on beer for Palace, Charlton and Millwall fans if they show their season ticket........what could go wrong?

Palace put up a list of local games earlier in the week: https://www.cpfc.co.uk/news/2019/oct...on-league-day/.

I'm going to watch Cray Wanderers for the first time in a few years.

I assume that I'm still banned from Champion Hill.

Dorking Wanderers v Hungerford tomorrow, where I usually am if Palace aren't playing :)

Selhurst Celtic 11-10-2019 09:16 PM

My local team is Cray Valley (PM) FC, I think. They're away so I'll hopefully watch the Ireland game somewhere. Apologies for this post not being in spirit with the thread.

We played them pre season when Holloway was our manger. I jumped on a group of Dulwich Hamlet fans on the terrace as I misinterpreted a song they were singing. I then ended up in the Palace changing room sitting next to Garvan after the match. I'm not going to blame the booze for my behaviour, but Elbows Browett who was the absolute root cause of all the difficulties I became involved with that evening.

I'm going to Tonbridge Angels v Braintree

I think it is great that people attend these games. Football needs to be inclusive of all teams, not just the PL.

charltonhater 12-10-2019 04:03 PM

Croydon FC 2-2 Meridian VP
The ref went off injured, so a fan had to replace one of the linespersons

Saw Whitehawk beat Romford 2-1 in preliminary round of the Trophy.

Whitehawk played some neat football, theyíve got a noisy and enthusiastic group of ďultrasĒ, Bovril was a boiling hot delight in the wind and rain. £10 ticket. Iíll probably go again. Should have gone sooner, to be fair, as Iíve lived in Whitehawk for 16 years!

Enfield beat Cray 5-3. It was a great game to watch but the defending wasn't at it's best.
