Earliest match on a Sunday 2pm, that's better than a 12 noon KO. Can still get first train down and have drinking time. Watching Palace without drinking time is not good.

You can bet that Sussex Police will want Brighton v Palace to be a Sunday 12 noon kick off

That will make for a top day / night out in Brighton on Saturday! Personally I think they would be better off going with a Saturday 3pm, or more likely Saturday lunchtime.

Can the first post on the thread please be edited/updated whenever a change is confirmed this season?
It's always annoying seeing new replies, opening thread up to think changes have been announced and it's the usual grumps moaning at Sky

Rearranged games on a Sunday must currently kick-off at one of the set TV times so it would either be 2:00 or 4:30. So our away fixture against Arsenal and probably also at home to Wolves will move to one of these times due to Europa League fixtures.

Would also expect the midweek games at home to Bournemouth and Southampton to be moved to Tuesday rather than Wednesday as currently listed. Previously a minimum of 3 games had to be scheduled for each midweek date but now all the scheduled midweek games will be televised either by BT or Amazon.

I will do what I can yes no problem.

Crofty 13-06-2019 01:12 PM

So a win at home for our opening fixture! :lux::p

CJ PLUM 13-06-2019 03:07 PM

Expect all the televised midweek games to be spread out from Tuesday until Thursday so that games on the following weekend may also be moved.

The new mid-winter break will be either the weekend of February 8th or 15th but the exact date will not be known until the TV games are selected for February on about 14th December.

The FA Cup 5th round games will all be played in the mid-week immediately after the League Cup Final on 1st March with no replay game.

Wolves play in the 2nd qualifying round of the Europa League so we may not know until 29th August whether this fixture will be moved to Sunday if they qualify for the group stages.

Norwich Eagle, thanks for that.

I try and produce a Comprehensive Fixture list for us West Country Eagles showing all the other dates of the 'interuptions' Euros, International fiendlies, Euro dates etc. because Palace release Home Tickets quite a way in advance of the matches and on occasions our planning goes adrift.

So thanks for the Heads Up.

Norwich_Eagle 14-06-2019 07:19 PM

I do a similar thing, with League Cup/FA Cup/European Rounds/International Fixtures. Be happy to post it if others will use it

Worzel Ron 16-06-2019 11:10 AM

Yes Norwich Eagle I try and include all those as well + plus updating thru the Season when the TV Games are announced.

Some of the Guys I travel with try to get to a Game a Month and it's surprising with all the interuptions how difficult that can be.

Worked out well at the end of last Season though as several games were attended to keep the average up and those games were where we were winning at Home!

Also confirms that the Boxing Day games will be spread across the 26th AND 27th December. Whilst nothing new, I wonder how many timeslots there will be across those two days? December 27th is technically a 'normal working day' this year (not a Bank Holiday) so I'd imagine for the 90m they spent, Amazon would want at least 3 live fixtures on the 26th.

There will also be a knock on effect in that if you are playing on Thursday 5th - the next game won't be until Sunday 8th

Also, if you are playing Friday 27th then theoretically your next game shouldn't be until Monday 30th

Then after that I imagine that you won't be playing New Years Day but, after then as well.

This is going to be fun... :wallbash::wallbash::wallbash:

:

Amazon only have 2 'rounds' of fixtures for 2019/20. In these circumstances they are only going to be interested in the 'big six' teams. I'd be amazed if Palace v West Ham and Southampton v Palace are going to be of any interest to them to be honest.

As soon as Thursday's fixtures are announced for the Football League I will get this fully published. But, said document would specify:

Premier League
Football League
FA Cup
League Cup
Champions League
Europa League
International Breaks

I don't doubt that, but, without looking into the fixtures it is possible that there is another fixture that would be moved which has a knock on effect to the next game.

Off the top of my head:

Team A vs. Team B is moved to Friday 27th Dec.

Team A vs. Team C which was then scheduled for Sat. 28th has to be moved to Sun. or Mon. the 29th or 30th.

Team B vs. Team D which was then scheduled for Sat. 28th has to be moved to Sun. or Mon. the 29th or 30th.

Those four teams then all have fixtures scheduled for Wednesday 1st January as well against potentially four other teams, so in total 8 teams will then potentially be affected by one fixture being moved 24 Hours.

Dorking .Eagle 17-06-2019 11:06 AM

Good point NE

So if Chelsea-Southampton gets put back to 27th Dec (quite likely) then our game with Southampton on 28th will have to be put back. And then a domino effect with our game on 1st Jan!

Yoda 17-06-2019 11:12 AM

This happened to Palace a couple of Christmases ago, with several fixtures moved a day or two.
