Been meaning to start this for a while. Seems like there's always a plethora of threads about the great game, so I thought it might be good to have a cricket specific thread, where everything that's going on at any given time can be discussed.

Let's face it, we've got specific threads about Gridiron, Poker and god forbid Professional Wrestling amongst others in the World of Sport Forum, so we really don't have a choice do we? :D

Anyway, let's see how it goes. :p

Bloody England going slow in Hoby.

However, I feel there is method in their lethargic madness. NZ wickets fell at an alarmingly quick rate. If England can get a decent score for 2 wickets at 25 overs, then they are well set to attack.

Edit: I'm supporting this thread but only because I'm too lazy to start a "Current ODI" thread. I think Cricket, unlike the "sports" you mention (Poker!? I Mean, I know it's on telly and all, but WTF?) it is big enough to deserve the separate threads it gets.

They really should win from here ME.

I certainly hope so. They really need a bit of a boost

It's a good idead but after reading your signature I feel that Oisin should be banned from posting or moderating in this thread. He obviously knows nothing about cricket. :)

Oisin will no doubt distance himself until England start winning again, he became conspicuous by his absence in the Ashes 06-07 thread.
