Marcelo Bielsa

Possibly one of the worlds greatest Coaches, what a master stroke it would be to bring him in and develop a playing philosophy that could really move us forward as a club.

Roy Hodgson has a better track record.

ebyeeckeagle 15-05-2019 09:53 PM

He's done well to get Leeds to bottle the lead and then flop in the play offs.

CP-RJW 15-05-2019 09:56 PM

When Pellegrino come?

ebyeeckeagle 15-05-2019 09:56 PM

On a serious note, everyone talks about him and other coaches reference him. He's never spent more than 2 seasons at a club ever. Not sure what that says really. Has a quick impact but cant sustain it? Or just gets bored easily.

No comparison Roy is a cart horse, where as Bielsa is a thoroughbred.

ebyeeckeagle 15-05-2019 10:13 PM

Yeah, his silverware is quite impressive.......

ebyeeckeagle 15-05-2019 10:13 PM

EFA

He needs runners i.e. mobile, skilful players, who can press and press. We don't really have those sorts of players, we have an aging squad who can't really press all over the park for anything like as long as he'd need. He'd be a poor fit even though he's a good coach.

How bang average are Norwich and Shef Utd? They finished above them.

Why are you still here? Serious question.

You told us yonks ago that you'd never post again if one of your many, many failed and so called 'ITK transfer scoops' didn't materialise.

It didn't happen.

You're still here. Posting shit. Why?

Saw some of the Derby game last night. The Leeds team reminded me of the Revie Leeds team who cloggedtheir way to titles in the seventies. Hunter, bremner, Charlton et al. Beradi last night night, Jesus christ. What a dirty bunch of crockers.

Good luck to Derby.

Leeds spending another year out of the top flight.:lux:
