Brighton and Hove Albion accounts

Has the lizard filed them yet? I thought he'd be wanting to show their deluded fanbase how they are doing it the right way.

EDIT: Seems he has

They only lost £36m in their push for promotion, a modest rise on the £23m they lost in the previous season #doingittherightway

Ha ha this is HILARIOUS

Quote:

Promotion Costs
The cost of achieving promotion to the Premier League was £9.1m.....blah blah bonuses......It also included the end of year Parade....
PAWADE :lux:

Payney 03-05-2018 04:07 PM

Wasn't their losses supposed to be 30million for last season? Or was that the season before?

Spindle 03-05-2018 09:48 PM

£36m. Plus another £23m for the previous season but it's OK because Bloom was one of the guys who voted for the rule change so clubs could borrow more.

Of course according to fans he wants nothing back, despite the fact that the accounts clearly state that the money is LOANED interest free from Bloom.

If they have a prolonged spell in this league he will get some back . But not the full £300 m +.

Doing it the right way.

Spindle 04-05-2018 07:12 AM

£155m due to creditors within 1 year

The club appears to have no assets to offset their liabilities and there is a statement that Bloom will loan the club money (from his bottomless pit). Since there are no assets at the club on these books (just £4.2m so that cannot be the ground and facilities) then he must own the ground as a privateer.

THEY ARE HOMELESS :lux: :D

Wages.
Their wage bill rose from £24m (in the Championship) to £35m (in the Championship)

72 players on their books.

#rightway

But they have to compete and the league is very very tight. If you don't invest in this league you are in trouble.

Phil's Barber 04-05-2018 07:33 AM

Surely some mistake. I thought the dwarf was going to be fully repaid once they took their rightful place in the "Pwemiership"

thereichstuff 04-05-2018 09:32 AM

Couldn't see much about it on the big bored

SJ'sLoveMonkey 04-05-2018 09:36 AM

Brighton fans in hypocrisy shocker. Who knew?

smileysmith 04-05-2018 09:43 AM

:D They're just the most entertaining rivals ever.

I still think we give them too much by allowing this rivalry though. They're just too pitiful to be worthy.

eaglejez 04-05-2018 10:09 AM

as I've said before they will do well for a couple of years (financially) due to the constraints of STCC but if they stay up a for a few years and their wage bill goes up then then Little Tone will not recoup much and (like us) their finances will be as if they are in the Championship :)

Spindle 04-05-2018 10:23 AM

Then they will be relegated and the Lizard will sell off the Andrex to become a retail park, and none of their fans will fight for the club as they end up at the bottom of League Two again.

Coastal Palace 04-05-2018 10:55 AM

They've been funded to the tune of £300m and yet it's still all big one loss.

Brighton/Falmer - not a footballing area.

You will always be chasing our shadow as it was ever thus. And lucky you having a stadium five miles from town in the middle of nowhere.

But you don't have the Amex otherwise it would be listed in your accounts as an asset.

You are homeless.
