Great batting from Oram gave him a well-deserved hundred. If they play anything like this on Tuesday they will cream England.

understatement of the year. if they can get 120 they'll beat England.

;)

I meant the flaw in ODI's is when they become one sided they become dull. There's no second innings to keep you dreaming anything is possible

Very true, it is rare to see a gutsy chase like NZ last nite. I'd much rather watch a day at a test match rather than a one day game. Having said that I will be at the SCG this friday. :p

ozeagle 29-01-2007 01:02 PM

flintoff still trying to talk up england's chances.

FFS, just say it Freddy, "get me on that f ucking plane and out of hell"...

:)

Anyone in Sydney like to go to the cricket on friday? I am at a loose end with a couple of cancellations and finding it hard to get replacements at short notice. Any interested people please pm me.

LLCOOLSTEVE 30-01-2007 08:12 AM

37 Extras. The difference between difficult and impossible. England don't get 300 plus scores batting second

With great weakness I've already PM'd him.

bunghole 30-01-2007 09:29 AM

Slack arse, I have to work and wouldn't dream of chucking a sickie. ;) :D

Actually I had one yesterday (Monday) so having another one on Friday would be stretching it a bit, even by my chronically lazy standards. :o

We don't get 200+ at all at the moment.

52-1 at the mo. Decent start (cue tumbling wickets:o )

What we have to do here, without fail, is challenge that total.

Godstone Eagle 30-01-2007 10:04 AM

85-1...quietly confident we'll get past the 110-120 barrier :p

Absolution 30-01-2007 10:07 AM

*sigh* there goes Bell

Men At Work 30-01-2007 10:09 AM

NZ now into the tail.

Bell has real trouble picking slower balls.

Radders 30-01-2007 10:14 AM

Bell out but 50 for Joyce (Ed that is, not the voice)

Don't think Joyce is a long term answer personally but 50's in the one day game are rarer than rocking horse shit these days so well done!

stupalace 30-01-2007 10:26 AM
