Beggar and Co and Incognito were off-shoots from Light of the World.

Anyone remember The UK Players?

Following JFM (Froggy :p ) and Invicta (Steve Walsh :( ) I fondly remember SOLAR (Sound Of London Alternative Radio) with Tony Munson and his breakfast show 'Munson's Morning Mayhem' which opened the station each day at 6AM with 'London Town' :)

Did anyone frequent 'Chantelles' in West Croydon? Also the 'Marlowe Rooms' in Sidcup did a superb session Monday nights.

This is a truly inspiring thread.

For me, these are three superb, [in my opinion] timeless Jazz Funk choons. I hope the links work for everyone....

Roy Ayers - Everybody loves the Sunshine

Tom Browne - Funkin' For Jamaica

Martine Girault - Revival

I'm quite happy to share a better quality version with anyone that PM's me ;-)

One ov my favorites is

Got my mind made up----Instant Funk 12" :p
