Joyce Sims: Had 6 records that charted in the UK but only one made the top 10 (NOT 'ARF POP PICKERS!) :cool:

Personally, I think she had a great voice but sufferred from poor songwriting. Anyhow the 'best of the rest' IMO is ..............

Those of you with the memory of an elephant may recall several weeks ago my expression of undying devotion to Miss T. Well, as we've only had the one and obvious track posted to date I thought at least one other was overdue.

This starts off very slushy but kicks in after 3 mins with some great sax.

Anybody ever go to the JFM Carshalton Carnival roadshows,massive venue but always seemed to be loads of trouble there.

Anyway not enough Philly Classics been put on this thread yet.

Early 80's, brilliant dos. They had to stop them in the end because like you said it brought with it loads of trouble. A real shame as they were huge events.
