So could Liverpool. Neither is likely though.

Arsenal are nothing special this season. We can pick up points against any side to be honest. I'm going for 5 points from those games.

Chelsea too imo. I still think Arsenal will finish above them.

Possibly which makes me pleased we have the number of points we have, which is more than normal. The league’s pretty fvcking bizarre already. Fvck knows what’ll happen.

Let them worry about playing a very solid Palace side that has one of the best defensive records in the league with just one goal conceded at home in our first 4 games and are unbeaten in our last 6 home games.

West Ham - Shit. Easy 3.
Man City - Running scared. Proud 3.
Arsenal - Beat them last time. Squeaky 3.
Leicester City - Made them our gimp. Safe 3.
Chelsea - Over-rated. Solid 3.
Liverpool - The wave is breaking. No sweat 3.

West Ham - Draw
Man City - Loss
Arsenal - Draw
Leicester City - Win
Chelsea - Loss
Liverpool - Loss

How many points do we think we can get to add to our current start? I'm looking at maybe 5 or 6. 1 win + 2/3 draws.

Thoughts

1 Win
2 Draws
3 losses

However many points we get from those 6 games, it further highlights that the 2 dropped v. Wolves was incredibly wasteful.

No chance of any from Man City and Liverpool, hope we can get 3 from the other games, either 3 draws or a win maybe at West Ham

But they have a Manager who knows what he is doing now.

Even if that were to happen, I bet we wouldn’t be in the bottom three.

beef 29-09-2019 07:45 AM

7. I suspect we'll beat one of the top teams, draw with another and beat either West Ham or Leicester.

Unfortunately they've sold donkey Maguire, so that doesn't help us....

bodger 29-09-2019 08:09 AM

All winnable all loseable six points would be good but we can get more.

HurstpierPalace 29-09-2019 08:14 AM

Would gladly take 3 points from that lot given what we’ve already got on the board.

bigend1 29-09-2019 08:35 AM

3 could be considered reasonable I think
4/5 good
6-8 very good
9 or more would actually be spectacular

To be honest if we got 2 points with decent performances and no major injuries going into that manic Christmas period it wouldn’t be the end of the world. Some serious points on offer with what 8 or 9 winnable games in about 6 weeks. That’s season defining, the next 6 are trying to get a cushion

Like I say - every year people find reasons why they are better than us and we're going to get battered.

KingClinton 29-09-2019 09:09 AM

12 points !

Wins v Leicester, The Spammers & Arse. Draws against the rest.

Time for abit of positivity. Makes a change having a decent start, bar Wolves.
