All winnable if we turn up, but you never know if palace will.

We should fear no one

Between 3 and 5

However many points we get from those 6 games, it further highlights that the 2 dropped v. Wolves was incredibly wasteful.

Yes, but as in true Palace fashion we got 3 points at Old Trafford where we usually get 0 the total we have is still pretty decent

GB2506 29-09-2019 11:14 AM

Would bite your arm off for 4/5 points

averity 29-09-2019 11:18 AM

Beat West Ham beat leicester, draw with Chelsea and arsenal lose to Liverpool and city

Miklemoose 29-09-2019 11:30 AM

I guessed 5. I can't say where those points are coming from out of those 6 teams but at the moment we're capable of frustrating decent teams and snatching points when we play well.

At the risk of giving it the kiss of death, I reckon we might get 6-7 points here.

A win vs West Ham and/or Leicester, and 4 points from the games with the 'big four' - it's not impossible. People gave us no chance against Man U and we (finally) turned them over: we turn up with the same mentality at Chelsea and Arsenal, I could see us coming away with at least a draw from both.

Id bite your hand off for 6 points. Those are the sort of games we could end up with nothing. Equally, we are more than capable of producing the odd shock, so lets see if they want it badly enough!

Maguire has gone. But we did get the points off his new club.

(Beaten to it - as usual)

Wins v Leicester, The Spammers & Arse. Draws against the rest.

Time for abit of positivity. Makes a change having a decent start, bar Wolves.

Wrong thread rudeboy, this is for bedwetters only

Agreed. Zaha in the 4-3-3 makes him a lot less threatening away from home. But better at home. Most of our good attacking moves start with Wilf, including both goals yesterday.

rhiannapaul 29-09-2019 02:25 PM

Liverpool looked tired yesterday couple of wins 3 draws 1 lose

JAS78 29-09-2019 05:49 PM

Six points

W West Ham, we are due a win over these
L Man City, unfortunately after last season we wont get much this
D Arsenal, frustrate them catch their weak defence on the break
L Leicester City, they are due a win over us
D Chelsea, snatch a point
D Liverpool, Roy will set us up to end their winning run

Stavros 69 29-09-2019 05:52 PM

We have to be looking for a point a game.

Danny_Cheviot 29-09-2019 06:03 PM

I figured wed have 5 pts after 7 games so Im only 120% out.

Were not the bad really? I go 2 wins, 1 draw and 3 defeats.

No we really aren't that bad, just don't sell Wilf though:D

palace_burger 30-09-2019 03:44 AM

Ironically these games suit our style. ie defend well and hit on the break opposed to trying to break down ‘lesser’ teams.

West Ham

Leicester City

Chelsea

Liverpool

How many points do we think we can get to add to our current start? I'm looking at maybe 5 or 6. 1 win + 2/3 draws.

Thoughts

6

Following these games we play

Burnley
Bournemouth
Watford
Brighton
Newcastle
Southampton
Norwich

... it’s gonna ebb and flow this season

Jacko 30-09-2019 08:59 AM

Just the one point from West Ham. But a pant-wetting meltdown held in check by a) accepting it in advance, and b) a pretty reasonable points tally already in the bag.
