I hope Twatford, Toon and weed haven't sorted themselves out by the time those games come round.

Palace have only conceded 7 goals in their last 7 games and 4 of those were at Spurs where we were forced to play clearly unfit players due to injuries.

We have been in good form for months and are on the same points as the 4th placed side sitting comfortable in 9th place.

We have nothing to fear in playing in the Premier League as we deserve to be playing in it and deserve more credit and optimism than what we get from some who seem to be waiting for our world to cave in, well you are in for a long wait as we have bounced back well from a heavy defeat and shown our mettle.

That's one more than I thought we'd get from this run. Well pleased with that.

20/30 people out of the game already

How thrilled are you to be thrilled after 1 game? What will you be if we get 4?

I've mentioned before an average of just over 1 point per game is the staying up standard... With 14 points even if we lose the next 5 from this run we will be still be on target :lux:

Well played, Sir.

In our six seasons in the Premier League we have averaged 4.3 points from matchday 8 to matchday 13. Our best was our first season under Roy where we gained 8 points. So normally not a good time of year for us irrespective of the opponents.

the drexciyan 05-10-2019 08:03 PM

still on track for 6 out of 6 :p

First 3 sorted.

The problem is Man City will take us seriously now.

Despite our good away form in recent years we are usually a bit shit at their place. Doubt it will change. I also think we'll be better at Selhurst than on the road this season.

Glad to be proved wrong.

Today's effect on that - zero. After last season, there was never any possibility that they would do anything else.

bubbs11 10-10-2019 08:30 AM

Only just realised after seeing a FB post...our next 5 games are against the 5 sides above us.

Like some kind of boxing elimination series. In 5 games time we could be the Heavyweight champions of the worrrrrrrrrld!

sydnsteve 10-10-2019 10:34 AM

i thought 4 before the Wham game which I took as a draw. Now I'd say 6

rainbow_child 10-10-2019 10:40 AM

If we beat Man City then well go above them in the table! :lux:

Good stats. Perhaps as this is where injuries and suspensions take its toll on normally our limited squad, or just run of fixtures?

Personally, I cannot wait for these fixtures. Mix it against the best.

Without getting carried away with our lofty position, City at home should be an electric atmopshere from us fans, scrapping for every point. Getting a point or better would be fantastic going into Arsenal who have a Europa league game on Thursday before us. Chelsea also have a tough Champions league game at home to Ajax just 4 days before us too.
