So I'm adjusting my prediction upwards. It was 5 points, we got 3 already. I think we can get another 5 from the 5 remaining games, so that makes the total 8 points.

Another 5 would be splendid.

2 draws and a win. The win being over Liverpool:D

Another Point. Going well.

Glazier69 27-10-2019 06:56 PM

Just need to keep Leicester down to single figures in the next one.

Son of Coveta 27-10-2019 06:58 PM

I think we will beat Leicester it happens sometimes that teams can be too confident after a result like that and we are their bogey team. Granted they are a different animal now after getting rid of the donkey Maguire and having Rogers in charge but 2-1 Palace i reckon.

bigend1 27-10-2019 07:03 PM

Thatís 4 points from the first 3 games. Excellent. I was happy enough with 4 after the six. Another result in the next 3 games would make it a wonderful start to the season with some very winnable games coming over the busy Xmas period.

OTOH we did get three points courtesy of Maguire when we turned the wankers over.

It's on the cards that we will be the team to beat the bib dippers.

Yep. 4 from the 6 would still be a good, solid haul. Anything else in the next 3 and I will be happy in the bigger picture.

Malarkey 27-10-2019 08:18 PM

4 from 3 is very good. 4 from 6 would be better than expected. This is just a win/win. Love it.

Three hard games gone and Palace are still 6th in the table.

I still can't find a league table anywhere.

Wankers are up to 7th? That's a pity.

Spindle 28-10-2019 08:41 AM

They've done well vs big clubs unfortunately

SussexRed&Blue 28-10-2019 08:44 AM

Predicted 4 Points from 6 so excellent return so far with another 3 chances for more.

Our record against Leicester is pretty good but they are playing well and no longer have Maguire playing for them! Think we still have a chance of getting something in that one.

Liverpool at home they have not been firing on all cylinders recently maybe we could end their unbeaten run?!

cpfcfan1 28-10-2019 08:48 AM

Would love us to beat the dippers

aj4england 28-10-2019 08:54 AM

Anyone else feel that Sunday perhaps defines our season? Not only do we close the gap on Leicester and go 3 points closer to safety, but it would probably mean that teams start to consider us as a serious outfit. First West Ham, now Leicester got a lot of love and we have gone about our business quietly. Of course it is a long way to go, but our December and January fixtures are much kinder (on paper). There is also a case that should we be top 8 come January, Wilf may want to stay and finish the season plus the possibility of some new additions....

A draw isnt a disaster though a defeat would likely see us slip down the table and into the middle pack - 14th place Brighton are only 3 points behind and with two tough games to come. The league will likely take shape and us sitting back in mid table should we lose.

Bookies clearly don't fancy us much, 8/1 to get relegated compared to a woeful Everton 16/1

To be fair we are 6th in the table but it is still very tight in terms of points we could still sink downwards pretty quickly if performances and results drop off.

We are still only an injury to Ward, Wilf or Ayew away from having problems. No natural right back cover, no other striker who scores and Wilf is still the player who makes things happen despite a quieter season so far.
