Surrey heading for defeat again. What the heck is the problem with this club? The team has been pants for years now.

I think change is happening. Chris Adams has done a lot since he joined but to be honest it's quite a big job. Installing a young captain is a gamble that's for sure, one I hope pays off in the long run ...

Don't call a taxi for Adams-Hamilton-Brown - it's an ambulance they need. Get. Rid. Of. ASAP

Before the season started Surrey were 2nd favourites at 7-4 for the title.
I must admit to being surprised. Still early days, but it looks just like a continuation of last year. Are they signing Brian Lara?

bit of a fairytale story coming out of Pakistan.

A giant player, Mohammed Irfan (nearing 7ft) is rumoured to having been called up the World T20 squad.

The guys career has been based soley on the movement on a forum (PakPassion) where he was discovered, and through contacts on that site, he played his first year of first class cricket in the current season (in his late 20s) and now has been called up by the national side.

Don't like batsmen not walking (I'm watching the IPL)

What about fair play, if you've hit the ball & the fielder claims a catch then you shouldn't wait for the umpire.

Completely agree. Just as bad if not worse is a fielder still appealing for a catch when the ball has been grounded. Happened last week with an Australian player on IPL - the batsmen had already reached the pavillion by the time they called him back.

Talking of Hamilton-Brown ... Surrey start well against Worcs .. :p

dannyboy1807 22-04-2010 12:37 PM

Surrey 493 all out thats much much better.

Worcester are currently 0-1 Nel gets a wicket in the 1st over of there innings.

CPFC Cheerleader Observer 22-04-2010 01:07 PM

oz_da II 22-04-2010 03:06 PM

South Australia have run out of patience with Cosgrove and Cullen.
Axed. :hi:

Brett 22-04-2010 05:24 PM

0/2 becomes 226/3 for Worcs.

I'd say well done but one can only imagine that state of the bowling.

CPFC Cheerleader Observer 25-04-2010 07:47 AM

Very well done Moeen Ali. Good batting to stop a Surrey win.

Just back and agreat game there. And Surrey actually won by one ball:lux:
Really good batting by Hamilton Browne and Davies to set us up,but still a close finish Surrey batting in bad light. Not sure if the one over rain stoppage helped us or not. Probably. Great value for money for a tenner.
