So laid back.

Dutch through and through.

Mr Palace 10-02-2019 11:09 AM

His comments in the week about how he engineered a move away from Sunderland to come to us were an embarrassment. Did he get asked about this?

Iíve just read the article in the Sunderland press, so you have to bear in mind that the journo wants a story for that audience.

However, I donít see an awful lot wrong with it. He and Moyes donít get on and he canít stand Moyesís training and coaching.

Allardyce is about to join Palace and tells PVA heíd like him to rejoin him there. PVA, who hasnít been popular with Moyes and sometimes benched, tells Moyes he wants to transfer.

Palace and Sunderland agree a fee. At that point I think Moyes shouldnít have selected PVA for a match that day...surely players who know theyíre leaving next day will be super careful not to be injured, so they wonít be as combative as they otherwise might have been?

I think Patrickís been v honest about it, maybe more honest than many other players who would have more evasive about what happened.

Didnít click with Moyes. Loved working with BFS.

I guess lots of Employees donít get on with their Boss.

Move suits both parties.

If you have sky sports it's repeated at 20:30 tonight. I think that you can stream a lot of sky sports shows.

Have they asked what is up with him this season? His first half performance was so laid back yesterday he may as well have had a lie down during the game.

At least second half he was a bit more on it, I really want the end of last season PVA back.

Funnily enough, no. I don't think that they're generally confrontational with their guests :D

I fully concur with your opinion though

Mr Palace 10-02-2019 12:13 PM

If any of our players had acted like that we’d have been very angry. They were awful comments and showed a lot of disrespect to Sunderland. He basically engineered a move away and refused to play. And some of you think that’s ok because he plays for us?

Yep, you could tell they thought he cocked up but didn’t hammer it.
