MOTD2 & MOTD2 Extra are far better programmes than MOTD.

Prefer Chapman to Lineker.

macstar 30-11-2014 06:04 PM

we got a little bit more from Goals on Sunday this morning.

alanlee11 30-11-2014 06:12 PM

MOTD2 does seem to be a stronger programme now

Lineker's beard and Claridge's moustache close run thing as to which is the worst.

Needs to be put out to grass.

Ha-ha, the whole BBC has been dumbing down, decade by decade, haven't you noticed ?

Match of the day really is pony. In the press the BBC were whinging about how hard it would be for them to make more efficiency savings. FFS, slash the pay of so called pundits on TV who speak drivel, offer no decent analysis and make snidey, little jokes that only they themselves laugh at. Sky could save money by fining Carragher if he analyses a Liverpool match and discusses Liverpool more than the other team. Watching the after match analysis the other week I wouldn't have known Palace were playing them if I had just watched the TV and not attended the match.

I can't understand a word Ardiles says but he speaks better English than Carragher.

Just seen that as MoTD are running a special tribute to the Christmas Day truce (honoured by teams up and down the country today), Jamie Oliver is a special guest and he and Lineker will be cooking a Taste the Difference Christmas Turkey with all the trimmings in honour of Sainsburys for what happened a century ago.

This means they will only have time to show the Spurs highlights from todays game.

We appear to be battered every week on MOTD.People always tell me how we are getting stuffed in games.:D

eaglejez 07-12-2014 12:13 AM

Doubt they'll show many of our chances

maestro 07-12-2014 12:21 AM

How can they say they it wasnt a penalty on Milner? he had his legs taken away

RUSSELL 07-12-2014 12:24 AM

You know they wont show any of our 12 corners yet will show both Spurs ones!

RUSSELL 07-12-2014 12:24 AM

Having said that, 99% of our corners were shit!! :)

It was a clear dive. Only contact were from shoulder against shoulder.

sl6 Eagle 07-12-2014 12:38 AM

Fairly decent highlights tonight, but can't believe they didn't show Ledley's clear cut chance in the 2nd half which he put over the bar.

He was falling before contact.

Ref booked Barkley for similar later on.

dav434 07-12-2014 12:40 AM

The commentary was very Spurs biased (never liked that Alan Green), but the punditry in the studio was more reflective of the game (although that digression to presenters' best tricks was rather bizarre)

anti-addick 07-12-2014 12:43 AM

Maestro with his expert analysis again lol
