Helen Flanagan - overacting and pouting - shockingly bad
Samia Longchambon
Shayne Ward - must have got the gig cos of X Factor - adequate at best
Gwyneth Paltrow - decent in Sliding Doors that's as about far as she can stretch
Melanie Griffith - helium voiced annoyance

Caruso kills me, he constantly poses in profile, its bloody hilarious. Mrs Skint keeps on "look he's doing again".

No one can top Stallone, so wooden you can get splinters just by watching. Still in all fairness you probably would have to quote Victor Mature "I'm not an actor I'm a film star" or something like that.

CP-RJW 03-03-2018 05:05 PM

Michael Cera and Jesse Eisenberg (they’re pretty interchangeable as far as I’m concerned). The skinny, socially awkward nerd role has been done to death by these two.

He was great, in a cheesy kind of way.

I'd like to put Daniel Radcliffe in the mix. His performance in the dreadful Victor Frankenstein was appalling, I felt sorry for him, seems like a nice bloke though.

Gerard Butler's a bit shit too, and I always find Matt Damon dull as ****.

If he plays himself and doesn't have to act, only to speak, then he's fine. For everything else he's shite. Watch 'Knowing' to get a glimpse of how bad he is. I was literally laughing when he gets 'beamed up' by the aliens

On the other hand, very surprised not to see Ben Affleck.

Statham and Charlie Hunnam. Two actors whose strange accents overshadow any 'acting' they might be doing

nickgusset 04-03-2018 01:54 AM

Was it a spitting image sketch where sting was talking to bowie saying that in Japan they are part of a movement called clap acting?

bubbs11 04-03-2018 03:40 AM

Bowie was pretty poor in the films I saw him in.

Sacrilege I know but Eddie Izzard isn’t great either.

I’m no thespian, but I always find when I’m watching either of the two above that I’m very aware that i’m watching someone acting if that makes sense.

Most of the Eastenders cast.

The soap actress that has always stuck out as horrendously poor is Kate Ford - Tracy from Corrie. It’s unbelievable that someone can be that bad in their chosen profession - and lasted that long! I’m guessing she is handsomely paid for it too. Daylight robbery.

Maybe so, but he could deliver one-liners better than any Bond ever has.

Not every actor has to be serious and moody to be considered good or great. Moore for his comic timing and presence alone should not be mentioned on this thread.
