Suranne Jones is completely over rated in my opinion - her facial expression in every scene suggests that she's got a steaming turd right under her nose. And that girl who plays Debbie Dingle in Emmerdale does my nut in whenever I watch it, the same blank expression whether she's happy, excited, sad, angry or whatever.....second only to that abomination who plays Fizz in Corrie for worst actress on TV.

Idriss Elba. First scene I ever watched of The Wire was Stringer Bell in series 3 in his apartment and I was hooked. Really felt I was actually watching a drug lord, in his house having his dinner. I went back and watched the entire show and it is still for me the best ever show. Then I discovered that he was from Hackney. Brilliant, even better. Then he went sh1t. I donít know what happened but just about everything he has done since has been lazy, and as for his Sky ads, please stop.
And Charlie Hunnum, what an absolute arse.

I loved him in Luther.

Started off well, but all the attention lead to an over-inflated ego and WTF was that blood tattoo all about

In turn though, these performances were over and above his "Bob" in I.D.

So what we're actually saying is most actors and actresses make good films and bad.

Who knew?

Thatís the genius of Tommy Wiseau. To make one film thatís so bad itís brilliant takes some doing.

Sarah Lancashire - she is the same in everything

Woking Eagle 08-03-2018 07:10 PM

Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley.

I just can't watch when they are on screen, and I have to turnover immediately.

Carey Mulligan certainly one of the best young British actresses, up there with Romola Garai and Sally Hawkins.
Keira is a bit of a pouter but very good in The Imitation Game

Demi Moore and Catherine Zeta-Jones, not terrible but both often give cold, unsympathetic performances.

Bryan 13-03-2018 11:02 PM

Frank Sidebottom - terrible

So is Alison Steadman.

Traci Lords - always fast forwarded to the action sequences....

Sick Bucket 13-03-2018 11:04 PM

Michael Caine - never understand why people think he's a good actor, can only do one character and that's bland, wooden and void of any emotion.
