2018! He'll never be the same again. He won't play 10 more premier league games.

Not necessarily. Jimmy Bullard who had several serious knee injuries still managed to come back

Bipe 09-12-2016 10:36 PM

Is it true that when he went down with the injury, Gary Neville said something about him 'giving all the theatrics'? If so then I do hope he has since apologised.

I feel for him, just hope he and the club do not try to rush back before he is absolutely fully rehabilitated.

Bit drastic!

Wish him a speedy recovery

RobertCPFC 09-12-2016 10:42 PM

I didn't realise how bad it was. I hope we can see he back playing again as soon as possible.

True, but YB's effect is about marrying a raw physical power and pace to lateral changes of direction. I hope his body can replicate where he was. But can not see that he has fully recovered from the injury celebrating against Stoke tbh.

Watching at the time I felt it was serious he got hit behind the back of the knee and went down in agony. I was very surprised he got up but after a few minutes was off, its a surprise now that the injury was as bad as I feared at the time because he did try to carry on. He is going to lose that extra yard of pace and he will need to use his skill far more when he returns if he can to be the effective hero he was for us.

PALACEWU 09-12-2016 11:06 PM

He'll be fine.

DARZET EAGLE 09-12-2016 11:21 PM

Good luck Bolasie, you will always have support at Palace.

The Omen 10-12-2016 04:26 AM

They are pushing for a headline. Jan 2018 at the latest... because it can take 6 - 9 months to recover, plus getting his fitness back. So could roughly be a year from now.

bubbs11 10-12-2016 04:31 AM

Really feel for him.

A huge resounding chorus of his song in January when Everton visit would be a nice touch.
